"I have dreamt of this day my entire life" // Emotional Canada Wedding Film

Sometimes, as a wedding videographer, you have those days when you’re shooting the wedding, and everything feels a little off. There may be factors outside your control, and when you go home at the end of the day, you’re left with a feeling of, ‘I wish that had gone a little better.’ This feeling did not occur with Stephanie and Petar’s day. Pretty much everything from start to finish just went and felt so, so good.

It was an emotional day for sure, with Stephanie having a very beautiful tribute to her late father as part of the celebration. As he had such an impact on so many lives around him especially with Stephanie and Petar, I hoped to pay tribute to him with a dedicated section to his memory within their wedding film. Weddings are meant to be joyous occasions, but ultimately, they include two people who have lived full lives, and part of every person’s life can sometimes be pain in loss. But ultimately, there is still joy in remembering and paying tribute to those very special people whom we have all lost.

Beyond that, the day was simply a joy to witness. Hearing the details behind Stephanie and Petar’s longstanding 15-year love story brought many tears out of those in attendance, especially since one of those in attendance was their beautiful son. Other amazing elements of the day included an absolute stunner of a sunset. To close it all off, Stephanie and Petar prepared a choreographed dance for their guests, which went through many different trends and eras of dance. It was an amazing day from start to finish, and it made me so happy to be given the privilege of recording and preserving their very special memories.

We just watched our wedding video, and you legit brought tears to our eyes. It was so perfect—you captured all the special, most memorable moments of the day (our love story, but also my dad). It was such an amazing day, but re-watching this—oh my gosh—truly, we will cherish this for all our years together. We loved all the amazing angles, and the aerial footage of the aisle moved me—it was so wonderful.
