5 ways to make your Wedding film personal and cinematic
As a wedding videographer, it is my job to create an incredible wedding film that you will want to watch for years to come. That is, without a doubt, priority number one. How does an amazing wedding film get made? Many different aspects go into it; some of these are technical (color grading/correcting, audio quality, quality of gear, etc.), but none of these matters if you don’t nail down the couple’s story.
"A Lifetime With You Will Never Be Enough" // Epic Tent Wedding Film
I want to start by saying this: It is exceedingly rare and incredibly humbling to film another wedding videographer’s wedding. It’s a huge compliment because it shows that not only do they like your work, but they trust you enough to capture their special day. That was the case with Lyndon and Brittany’s wedding.
“If you’ll be mine?” // Intimate Country Wedding
What an incredible day spent with the sweetest and cutest couple! Filming Kevin and Mikayla’s wedding was such a delightful experience. Pretty much everything from start to finish just went and felt so, so good.
"A Spark When We Look at Each Other" // Toronto Casa Loma Destination Wedding
Mountains, castles, horses, golfing, Toronto, Calgary. I can say without a doubt that Devon and Tayah’s wedding film is far and away the most diverse and ambitious film I’ve had the privilege to shoot so far.
"The Cece to your Schmidt" // Golf Course Wedding Film
From meeting at a local Karaoke spot in 2014 until their wedding day, Coralie and Zane seem like a perfect match. This is my outside perspective; but after the day filming their wedding, it was extremely clear how well-suited they are for each other.
