"Never a Dull Moment" // FUN Riverside Ontario Wedding Film
Man, I don’t even know where to begin with this one. It was just literally such an awesome day from start to finish. Hopefully, it’s very clear from their wedding film – but Bonnie and Dave were such a fun couple that liked to laugh and dance with each other and just have a good time. Victoria (the photographer) and I commented that we really hadn’t seen a wedding party that was quite as tight as this one. It seemed that most of the bridal party were all friends they had known for years – from their time together in university.
Can we pick our own music for our Wedding Film?
A very common question when it comes to professional wedding videos, is can we pick our own music? There may be certain advantages to picking out music you like – mainly that you are guaranteed to love the song choice. However, I think it’s much more advantageous to let your wedding videographer pick out the songs for the video. So, in answer to the question “Can we pick our own music for our Wedding Film?” the answer is yes…kind of. Let me explain further.
"By the way...I met a really nice guy" // Intimate and Romantic Country Wedding
Kaitlin and Nico are a perfect example of how to take something discouraging – in this case Covid restrictions – and make the best of the circumstances. I originally met with Nico and Kaitlin back in 2019 before the word’s “pandemic” and “wedding planning” were ever used in the same sentence. Originally planning on having a large-scale wedding in 2020 they had to move their wedding day back a year. The result? A wonderful day.
I Would Say “Yes” Anywhere // Downtown Summer Wedding
If you want a hear a romantic story, look no further than Danny and Sharla. I came onboard to their wedding only a week before their day courtesy of a recommendation from their photographer Tiara and I’m so glad that I did.
The 3rd Rule Podcast - Dylan Paradis & Fade To White Films: Wedding Videography
So that was a real good time. I recently got the chance to appear on my friend Kyle Didur’s podcast, “The 3rd Rule”. In case you were sick of reading me talk about wedding videography, now you have the chance to hear me talk about it. Like in your ears. Among the topics we discussed was when/how I first got into wedding videography, the kind of gear I use, my approach to different parts of the day and I even turn the tables and ask Kyle some questions. It was a great chat, and I’m thankful I got the opportunity to sit down with him.
"I don't know what I did to deserve you..." // Rustic Canadian Wedding Film
This wedding was a special one for me. A few years ago, I met Marc at the gym and we got along well, and I really enjoyed talking to him. This is especially surprising for me, because when I'm at the gym I may usually look a tad unapproachable. Usually, I will have headphones in, and my resting face may not look exactly like the type of guy you would want to approach. I swear I'm friendly though! So, it was a small world experience when Marc's fiancée Kaleigh contacted me through WeddingWire looking to see if I was available for their wedding date several years after I had initially met Marc at the gym. I'm so happy I was.
