"I don't know what I did to deserve you..." // Rustic Canadian Wedding Film

This wedding was a special one for me. A few years ago, I met Marc at the gym and we got along well, and I really enjoyed talking to him. This is especially surprising for me because when I’m at the gym, I may usually look a tad unapproachable. Usually, I will have headphones in, and my resting face may not look exactly like the type of guy you would want to approach. I swear I'm friendly though! So, it was a small-world experience when Marc's fiancée Kaleigh contacted me through WeddingWire looking to see if I was available for their wedding date several years after I had initially met Marc at the gym. I'm so happy I was.

Talk about an emotional wedding day. From the three first looks throughout their Wedding Film to their vows and speeches, the tears were never far away. Another thing that was amazing about Marc and Kaleigh was their commitment to getting married even in the middle of a pandemic and saying that no matter what happens, they are going to do it. They just couldn't wait any longer to be married to each other, and not even a pandemic was going to stop them.

One little fun fact: The Rustic Wedding Barn was where I shot my first paid wedding gig a few years ago, and so I have fond memories of it. It turns out it was just as beautiful as I remembered. Coincidentally, I also ended up working with the same wedding planner again, Bryanne Krahn, which was also such a nice experience.

Overall, the day was just so much fun, and from an outside perspective, it couldn't have been more of a success considering the circumstances. I wish Marc and Kaleigh nothing but the best going forward!

“These are absolutely amazing, you guys did such a great job filming and these edits are unreal. I knew Kaleigh looked good, but you even made me look good...not an easy task! Thank you for all of this, you were truly awesome from start to finish and a lot of fun to have around on the day. You were very professional and organized, and worked so well with our other vendors to make everything run smoothly. The finished product looks better than we had hoped for, and its an amazing memory to have from the day that went by so quickly.”
