"The Cece to your Schmidt" // Golf Course Wedding Film
From meeting at a local Karaoke spot in 2014 until their wedding day, Coralie and Zane seem like a perfect match. This is my outside perspective; but after the day filming their wedding, it was extremely clear how well-suited they are for each other. It was easy to see this by the deep level of mutual support they both have for each other. Whether it’s Zane supporting Coralie through her schooling or Coralie cheering on Zane for his Ironman training, they are – to put it simply – there for each other. Also, they both love to laugh, which made my job so much fun – and it was an absolute delight to be included in their day.
One thing that must be mentioned was the insane gale force winds occurring throughout the day. The wind was so intense that they decided to do a last-minute pivot and move their ceremony indoors. The one advantage of having crazy winds was the dreamy veil shots that were only possible because of the wind. Other than the wind, however, the day really seemed to flow incredibly smoothly. The venue at the golf course was beautiful, and there were so many diverse locations that made for some stunning footage. Whether it was the fall colors and being surrounded by trees, an actual bridge (very fitting), or the wide-open spaces of being on a golf hole.
There was also just such a feeling of family and love for these two. Even though some family members and friends couldn’t attend, it was still such a party - with large wedding parties on both sides to show their love and support. Finally, the night ended with some great (masked) speeches, a shoe game, and lots of dancing. A day they won’t ever forget!
