"Never a Dull Moment" // FUN Riverside Manitoba Wedding

Man, I don’t even know where to begin with this one. It was just literally such an awesome day from start to finish. Hopefully, it’s very clear from their wedding film – but Bonnie and Dave were such a fun couple that liked to laugh and dance with each other and just have a good time. Victoria (the photographer) and I commented that we really hadn’t seen a wedding party that was quite as tight as this one. I may be mistaken, but it seemed that the majority of the bridal party were all friends they had known for years – from their time together in university.

That’s really where Bonnie and Dave’s story started, through meeting years ago at university. The saying, opposites attract really does work for Bonnie and Dave. This was mentioned multiple times throughout the day – by means of their vows to each other (which were equal parts touching and hilarious), and through the speeches – which were legitimately so funny. And yes, the speeches did have quite a bit of roasting, but that is what you would expect given they had all been friends for so long. The night ended with a sparkler-lit first dance, followed by tons of dancing, and it was so clear how much fun everyone was having after being denied the “gift” of dancing for so long due to Covid.

One special shout-out must be made to Scott and Joy who are the owners of River’s Edge Resort. Scott even made a cameo fishing in Bonnie and Dave’s wedding film. It was such a beautiful venue, and I was so impressed and in love with the many different spots that were so gorgeous for pictures. My favorite – being very fittingly – right next to the river’s edge on a small grouping of rocks. It was such a wonderful day and I wish all the best for Bonnie and Dave moving forward!

Thank you so much for putting this together and for being part of our day! It could not have gone better and we are so pleased with how you captured all of it!! Each time I watch I find something new!
