Now Serving Toronto, Ontario...Fade to White Films

I am now serving Toronto, Ontario. Yes, that is correct. Having recently moved to Toronto and living close to downtown and Casa Loma, I am now offering my Wedding Videography services to Toronto and many of the surrounding areas within the GTA.

How will this affect my business going forward? The short answer is not much. But here’s some more details.

Pricing

I’ve been a wedding videographer for seven years as of writing this article (September 2024), which is incredible to say out loud. Over this time, I’ve shot countless weddings and continually refined my craft. With Toronto and Ontario as a whole being highly competitive markets, I’ve had to adjust accordingly. This means using top-of-the-line gear, working with a second videographer, taking online courses to enhance my skills, and prioritizing client relationships. What does this mean for you? It means my prices must increase, but rest assured that your precious memories are in very safe hands. Let’s discuss more about what this means for you.

Client Meetings

Most couples (though not all) will likely want to meet with their wedding videographer in person before deciding to book them. This is understandable, as people want to ensure that the person they’re hiring to create their wedding film is someone they feel comfortable with. I get it—dealing with someone who seems unhinged on your wedding day is definitely not ideal. If you haven’t already, I strongly recommend reading my article on how to feel most comfortable on your wedding day. If you don’t have the time, know that I want our time together to be enjoyable and comfortable. This not only keeps everyone happy on the wedding day but also leads to the best possible results. With that in mind, I’d love to meet you and your significant other. We can do this in person, virtually, or over the phone. I completely understand the importance of connecting with the person you'll be spending much of your day with, so we’ll find a way to get in touch in your preferred manner. Promise.

Those are the main ways I can think of that this change will affect you going forward. Basically, I don’t see this being anything other than a positive change. I am very much looking forward to broadening my horizons (literally) and having all kinds of new and positive experiences shooting weddings in Toronto and the surrounding GTA in the future. I think it’s going to be a really good time.
